30A High Street Tadcaster

An oasis of calm and tranquility.

I work from the studio, creating original art and working on commissions. A light filled space, the odd plant or two dotted around and always with some chilled tunes playing in the background.

The Gallery is a super special space for me and still very much a pinch me moment when I walk in and see my work on the walls. I open the gallery on different days each month, for collection launches and for appointments to discuss purchase and commissions. Keep an eye on socials on on the newsletter for opening dates or get in touch to book an appointment to stop by.

My Story

In the heart of beautiful Yorkshire, I explore the essence of emotions and the grace of movement through my art. Inspired by the tranquility that nature gives us and the emotions music evokes, my work seeks to inspire calm in the chaos of our lives and to transform your living spaces into moments of calm reflection.

For me art is not just a visual experience; it is a powerful emotional journey. Through a palette of muted tones and pastel shades, I strive to create art work where the mind can wander freely, where we can find a quiet place, free of judgement and pressure of every day life.

As a contemporary artist, my aim is to create pieces that resonate with the aesthetics of design-led homes, enhancing the visual appeal and evoking a sense of balance and harmony.

My journey as an artist has been winding. After studying fine art some 20 years ago, I found myself lost in a battle with eating disorders, crippling self doubt and subsequently lost faith in my work. I dabbled for years afterwards, doing the odd commission here and there. But only in recent years have I had the courage and drive to pick up my brushes and I can feel the fire again.
